(Video from Baltimore Sun) Ground has been broken on the site of old Memorial Stadium, where the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation and the YMCA of Central Maryland are redeveloping the field into a new Youth Development Park. Ripken Design developed the designs for the new park, and will assist throughout the construction process.
